FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Miami, FL (September 27, 2016) – Bridging the gap between health, wellness and technology, Faces of Innovation has teamed up with Miami Cancer Institute, Coastal Wealth, Dominion Capital, and MDLIVE to deliver an evening of luxury, networking, and interactive discussion.
The 3rd installation in the technology-focused event series, Innovation in Healthcare, will be held on October 20th at The Deck at Island Gardens, and promises to be the biggest yet. With a combination of old and new additions, this year, Faces of Innovation aims to deliver an even more luxurious event, attended by Miami’s top influencers and taste makers synonymous to the brand.
Returning to the event is the signature “Innovation Hub,” a collection of experiential activations that immerses guests in new technology, created by local entrepreneurs. The Innovation Hub, previously presented by popular tech incubator, Rokk3r Labs, is a hands-on experience, where guests can try out cutting-edge devices and software – even before they hit the market. As a focal point of the event, Innovation Hub has been a hit with partygoers and companies alike, as it also provides emerging brands with a live-action focus group to test new product.
New to the event line up is #facetime, an elite speaker presentation that allows VIP consumers, investors and industry professionals the opportunity to interact with key executives via short TED Talk style addresses. Moderated by Nick Williams, Co-creator of Faces Of Innovation and CEO of NOW Interactives, #facetime allows executives eight minutes to get face-to-face with their audience, providing a more personal address and an opportunity to speak directly to their market’s needs.
The panel will include a number of industry thought leaders, including Dr. Jeff Boyd, Director of Genomic Medicine and Research of Baptist Health, Matt Feshbach, CEO of Okyanos Cell Therapy, Jeremy Straub, Managing Partner of Coastal Wealth, and Mikhail Gurevich, CEO and Managing Partner of Dominion Capital.
Opening the #facetime presentation will be the night’s honoree, Randy Parker, Founder and CEO of MDLIVE. The long-time tech executive will discuss the integration of technology in consumer-focused entities throughout his 30 years of building successful, disruptive companies. The evening will culminate with a presentation of the Faces of Innovation Award to Mr. Parker for his outstanding work and innovative contributions to the healthcare industry.
